  1. Get 1 medium gobhi/ Cauliflower
  2. Make ready 1 medium potato
  3. Get 3-4 green chillies
  4. Take 1 tsp black cumin/ kalonji
  5. Get 3-4 tsp poppy seeds
  6. Take As per taste Salt
  7. Prepare Pinch Sugar
  8. Prepare 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  9. Prepare 2 spoons oil/ best taste use mustard oil

Cabbage is a healthy and low cal vegetable ,it can be used as a diet food and to reduce weight. It can be consumed easily by everyone. In the same way, we can make cabbage-Potato Stir-Fry and serve with roti or stuff inside roti and roll it. Gobhi, parathas (stuffed cauliflower bread) make a great Sunday breakfast.

Instructions to make Gobhi stir-fry:
  1. Cut Gobhi into small florets as seen in the picture. Cut potato into a small square.
  2. Heat water in a bowl, add little salt and turmeric powder. Switch off-gas. Then add the Gobi into it. Keep it for 10 mins. This step is for cleaning purpose for germs.
  3. Next, dry Gobi and Alu completely by the strainer.
  4. Take a non-stick pan, heat oil, add black cumin and green chilli. Fry till 40 seconds after coming nice smell of kalonji, add chilli and mustard oil then add potato, gobi and fry for 2 mins high heat and coated with oil. Next add turmeric and salt and fry again for 1 min in high flame. Next, do flame low and cover with a lid, fry till potato cook. Stir fry in between intervals.
  5. Now add poppy seeds, salt, sugar and fry another 2 mins in high flame as gobi will get burnt little, burnt gobi smells good.
