Steps to make Samai (Little millet) Curd Rice:
  1. Wash samai and mix it with water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles
  2. While it’s getting cooked, heat a pan with oil and temper with mustard seeds, Urad dal and channa dal.
  3. Add onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies together and sauté for few mins until onion becomes glassy. No need to be soft. Add salt.
  4. Mix it with samai along with curd.
  5. Enjoy

I usually make kanji or this curd rice with millets like varagu and samai which is the best and actually there is no much difference in taste , it tastes just like our regular curd rice so this can be another healthy addition to your lunch menu.
