  7. Take 2 cm turmeric (1 tsp turmeric powder)
  8. Make ready 2 tsp coriander seed

  13. Get 4 kaffir lime leaves (tear)
  14. Make ready 2 lemongrass (white part only)
  15. Get 1 tbsp tamarind (remove seed)
  16. Prepare 1 cup coconut milk (250 ml)

  18. Take Cooking oil
Steps to make Chicken Rendang:
  1. Use food processor or blender to blend all the spice paste ingredients into a fine paste.
  2. Heat oil and fry the spice paste until fragrant.
  3. Add coconut milk and water. Mix well.
  4. Add kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass and tamarind.
  5. Add chicken, adjust the heat down (simmer), keep stirring and cook the chicken until it is tender (min. 30 minutes). Ready to serve.
