  5. Get 1 lb fresh shrimp
  6. Take 1 tbsp ajo paste (garlic paste)
  7. Prepare 3 thinly sliced small shallots

The sauce is made using a jarred sofrito sauce with other yummy ingredients added. The shrimp are served over toasted sourdough bread and the sauce is ladled over the top. Add some cilantro and let it all bubble together for a few minutes. The shrimp get a quick bath just until cooked, and then top with more cilantro right at the end for that fresh green flavor.

Instructions to make Sofrita Shrimp:
  1. Clean and deveined 1lb of shrimp and set aside in a bowl. Add 1tbsp of oil, mojo rub and garlic pepper to the shrimp. Stir all together. Let it set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. After the 30 minutes, get a sauce pan and put on a stove at medium heat. Add 2 tbsp of oil, 1tbsp of garlic paste and 3 thinly sliced shallots. Cook for 3-4 minutes then add shrimp to cook for 5 more minutes. Add sofrito then turn to medium-low heat to cook for 5-7 more minutes. You are done!
